Hello!
I'm Vishal (well that’s written on the top, but anyway :P), a pizza lover ☕, 21-something-year-old front-end web developer 💻 with a strong educational background in Computer Science. I am interested in the interdisciplinary areas of Computer Science, Psychology and Mathematics. I have worked on projects based on Web-apps, Python, and Machine Learning 🚀 in the past.
I started creating cool web designs using HTML and CSS back in my 3rd Semester. I am a JavaScript enthusiast and extremely passionate about coding. I love to learn new things every day and keep up with the new technologies. In many ways, websites are my first love 💙
I have a 6 months of experience in designing websites, finishing my second year as a developer has been a huge milestone for me. This is because I had no real experience doing web development — and not much programming experience in general. I have also been very active outside of the classroom, participating in extracurricular activities and pursuing new experiences so as to push myself and broaden my horizons.
Last but not least, one of my favorite activities is to educate and mentor others in the field to fulfill their potential and deepen my knowledge. You can find more about me on Quora.
So I’ll start off with my journey...
After deciding I wanted to get into web development the first question on my mind was “What do I learn?” Well I have all the answers for you..
Web Development
HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), JavaScript, Git, Gatsby, Firebase ? You name it. If you can get your hands on Jon Duckett’s HTML and CSS: Design and Build Websitesbook, it’s also a rock solid starting point for learning HTML & CSS (with a sprinkle of web design).
Responsive Design
In 2020 you can't go online without having a mobile responsive website. You can do responsive design without any additional framework, but it’s far easier with the help of a responsive framework like Bootstrap.
Javascript & JQuery
I began my Journey learning JavaScript through Coursera and Codecademy. If you don’t know about these, they’re great websites that allow you to learn to code by coding inside the browser.
Projects
These are some of my recent projects
Online Examination Portal
This is a platform for students where they can apply for the various exams they wish too. It was a project given to me in the Third semester of Bachelors. I designed it using pure HTML and CSS.
View CodeReVidya LMS
This is an Online Video Tutoring Platform that I designed working a Front-End developer in a BITS Pilani based startup. It contains five different pages, including the landing page. The website is designed mainly using Bootstrap 4 and is currently functioning well.
View WebsiteCalculator
This is a simple calculator which performs the most common arithmetic operations. It have cool design and buttons are arranged nicely using CSS grid. I used JavaScript to receive input, perform computation and display the correct result on "screen".

I'd love if you reached out to me. Even if it's just to say "Hey!". Don't hesitate! Drop me a line and I’ll get back to you ASAP!
